2 min read

Raipur . Senior State Congress spokesperson Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that the present government has failed to fulfill the promise of giving a lump sum cash of Rs 65,100 per acre to the farmers in Panchayat building. Like other promises, the promise of giving Rs 3100 per quintal i.e. Modi’s guarantee has also proved to be a mere statement. In reality, BJP’s policy has always been anti-farmer and Modi government has been working against farmers for the last 10 years. Even when the Congress government gave a lump sum paddy price of Rs 2500 per quintal to the farmers, the Modi government had imposed rules and conditions due to which the NYAY scheme was started. In reality, the action of the Narendra Modi government is against the economic progress and betterment of the farmers. Two are our two intentions.

Senior State Congress spokesperson Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that the government should immediately pay the outstanding amount of the fourth installment of Kisan Nyay Yojana to the farmers. The Congress government has passed an amount of more than Rs 5700 crore in the budget for the payment of NYAY scheme, out of which three installments have been paid and the amount of the fourth installment is kept in the government treasury which is the right of the farmers.

Senior spokesperson of State Congress, Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that the farmers have to understand that the government sitting at the Center is not of the farmers but it is the government of a few capitalists like Adani and Ambani. The policies of the Modi government are to benefit the capitalists and get huge money from them. The purpose is to collect election donations for BJP. By defeating the BJP MPs in the Lok Sabha elections, the farmers will have to bid farewell to the Modi government at the Centre, only then will the future of the farmers of the country and the state and their families be bright
