New Delhi. During the last stop of Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra, Rahul Gandhi targeted PM Modi over electoral bonds in Thane, Maharashtra.

He said, “A few years ago, PM Modi came up with a plan which it was said would bring transparency in political funding. At its center was the electoral bond. “This meant that corporates could donate to parties anonymously.”

Rahul Gandhi alleged, “Now it has come out that this was a way of extorting money from big corporates of India. A method in which money is taken from companies, they are threatened and forced to donate to BJP. This is the world’s biggest extortion racket and it is run by the PM of India.”

Rahul Gandhi said, “People associated with the electoral bond scam should think that someday the BJP government will change. After this such action will be taken that this will never happen again. This is my guarantee.”

Rahul Gandhi said, “There can be no bigger corruption than electoral bonds. PM Modi ji has done this. This is corruption of such a level that the entire infrastructure of the country is involved in corruption. CBI, ED, Income Tax Department.
