1 min readIndore ( Team Newsbuddy) : Archaeologists from the ASI, along with representatives from the Hindu community, started examining the Bhojshala complex in Dhar on Friday morning. Security was tight, with police ensuring a smooth process. While ASI officials remained tight-lipped, those representing the Hindu community believe evidence found points to the site’s history as a temple.
Police Superintendent Manoj Kumar Singh confirmed heightened security measures as directed by the High Court. He promised full cooperation with the ASI. Members from the Hindu community, along with ASI officials, presented findings suggesting the presence of a temple. They also questioned the absence of counter-evidence from the Muslim community.
This inspection follows an earlier survey by a separate ASI team, which included documentation through photos and videos. The current survey wrapped up around noon to avoid disrupting Friday prayers.
