Rs 83.6 rupees per dollar

Raipur. Reacting to the continuous fall of rupee against the dollar in the last 10 years during the Modi government, senior spokesperson of the State Congress Committee Surendra Verma has said that the Modi government has proved to be a failure in terms of financial discipline and management of the economy. Due to the wrong economic policies of the Modi government, the rupee has reached its historically weakest level against the dollar, with 83.6 rupees per dollar, the international trade balance has deteriorated. The Bharatiya Janata Party government could neither handle the country nor the country’s economy properly. Despite more than three dozen big public sector undertakings being sold in the last 10 years, the total debt burden on the country has increased four times more in the Modi regime as compared to 2014, the total debt of 54 lakh crore has now increased to more than 205 lakh crore.
Senior spokesperson of the State Congress Committee, Surendra Verma, has said that the Modi government has ruined the country’s economy. For the first time in history, the Indian rupee has fallen out of the top 10 currencies of Asian countries. The dollar which was 59 rupees on 30 May 2014, has now increased to 83 rupees 60 paise. Due to the increase in the price of dollar against the rupee, interest rates are increasing, more price has to be paid for the import of crude oil, inflation is constantly increasing, the direct loss of which is being borne by the common people. Why are the BJP members, who linked the value of the rupee to the dignity of the post of Prime Minister, silent now?
