Nomination for second phase: one candidate submits nomination papers in Kanker LS seat

Raipur. Under the second phase of Lok Sabha elections-2024, the nomination process has started from March 28 in three Lok Sabha constituencies of Chhattisgarh, Kanker, Rajnandgaon and Mahasamund. Sonsingh today submitted his nomination papers as a candidate of Ambedkarite Party of India for Kanker Lok Sabha constituency.

Under the second phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024, the process of filing nominations in Kanker, Rajnandgaon and Mahasamund has started from March 28. Candidates can submit their nomination papers on office days from 11 am to 3 pm except public holidays. The last date for filing nomination for the second phase is April 4. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on April 5. The last date for withdrawal of nomination is April 8, 2024. Under the second phase of elections, voting will be held on April 26 in Kanker, Mahasamund and Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha constituencies.

Under the first phase of Lok Sabha elections-2024, a total of 11 candidates will go among the voters for election in Bastar Lok Sabha constituency. The polling date for Bastar Lok Sabha constituency is April 19.
