Modi government, country in heavy financial debt: Congress
1 min readRaipur (Team Newsbuddy): The Government of India is going to take a loan of more than 14 lakh crores in the current financial year. State Congress President Deepak Baij said that since independence till the year 2014, in 67 years, the total debt on the country was 55 lakh crores. In the last 10 years, Modi alone increased it to 205 lakh crores. Modi government took a loan of about 150 lakh crores in the last 10 years. Today, every citizen of the country has an average debt of about one and a half lakhs. Modi government should tell in which work of nation building this money of such a huge loan was used?
Deepak Baij said that were jobs created on the same scale on which the loan was taken? In reality, jobs actually disappeared in 10 years? Neither did the income of farmers double? Nor did schools and hospitals shine? Apart from this, the public sector was weakened? Neither were big factories and industries set up? Then why did the Modi Government take the loan? If the core sectors of the economy are in a bad shape, if the labour force has declined, if small-medium businesses have been destroyed – then where did this money go? On whom was it spent? How much of this money was written off? How much money was spent in waiving the loans of big billionaires? The Modi Government is in no position to answer.
