Campaigning to stop on 102 Lok Sabha seats

It is worth noting that in the first phase, votes will be cast on April 19 for 102 Lok Sabha seats in 21 states and union territories of the country. According to the guidelines issued by the Election Commission, the election campaigning for the seats where voting is to be held in the first phase will end 48 hours in advance, that is, at different times between 4 pm and 6 pm today. In this way, many programs like public meetings or processions will be banned in these parliamentary constituencies from this evening.
In the first phase, voting will be held in 08 seats of Uttar Pradesh, 04 seats of Bihar, 03 seats of West Bengal, 12 seats of Rajasthan, 06 seats of Madhya Pradesh, 05 seats of Uttarakhand, 04 seats of Assam, 02 seats of Meghalaya, 02 seats of Manipur, 01 seat of Chhattisgarh, 02 seats of Arunachal, 05 seats of Maharashtra, 39 seats of Tamil Nadu, 01 seat of Mizoram, 01 seat of Nagaland, 01 seat of Sikkim, 01 seat of Tripura, 01 seat of Andaman & Nicobar, 01 seat of Jammu & Kashmir, 01 seat of Lakshadweep, 01 seat of Puducherry.
The 08 seats of Uttar Pradesh where voting is to be held include Saharanpur, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Nagina, Moradabad, Rampur and Pilibhit seats. Voting will be held in the first phase in 4 seats of Bihar. These 4 seats include Aurangabad, Gaya, Jamui and Nawada seats. In the first phase, voting will be held on six Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh. These six seats include Chhindwara, Balaghat, Jabalpur, Mandla, Sidhi, and Shahdol. The six seats in Maharashtra where voting will take place include Gadchiroli, Chimur, Ramtek, Chandrapur, Bhandara-Gondia, Nagpur seats.
At the same time, voting will be held in the first phase on all 39 seats of Tamil Nadu. In this election, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has focused its attention on South Indian states, especially Tamil Nadu. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has visited Tamil Nadu several times so far. The 39 seats of Tamil Nadu include Nilgiri, Coimbatore, Pollachi, Dindigul, Karur, Tiruchirappalli, Perambalur, Tiruvallur, Chennai North, Chennai South, Chennai Central, Nagapattinam, Thanjavur, Sivaganga, Madurai, Theni, Sriperumbudur, Kanchipuram, Arakkonam, Vellore, Krishnagiri, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari, Dharmapuri, Tiruvannamalai, Arani, Viluppuram, Kallakurichi, Salem, Namakkal, Erode, Tiruppur, Cuddalore, Chidambaram, Mayiladuthurai, Virudhunagar, Ramanathapuram, Thoothukudi and Tenkasi seats.
