Naxal encounter: Bhupesh calls it fake, Vishnudev-Vijay hit back
3 min readRaipur (Team Newsbuddy). Politics has now started on the country’s biggest Naxal encounter in the forest of Kanker on Tuesday. Congress party leaders are raising questions on this encounter. At the same time, Chief Minister Say and Deputy Chief Minister Sharma have given a befitting reply to the questions of the Congress.
On April 16, police and BSF personnel launched a major attack against the Naxalites in Kanker. A large number of Naxalites have been killed in this incident. Police have recovered the bodies of 29 Naxalites and a large number of weapons from the spot. It is being described as a big incident in the history of the state. Till now, such a large number of bodies of Naxalites were not recovered in any encounter. Some soldiers of the force have also been injured in this incident. Here, politics has also intensified regarding this incident. Former Chief Minister and Congress candidate from Rajnandgaon parliamentary seat Bhupesh Baghel has called the encounter fake. The government and BJP have launched an all-out attack on Baghel’s statement.
Former Chief Minister Baghel has raised questions on the Naxalite incident in Kanker. He has termed the encounter as fake. Baghel said that fake encounters of Naxalites take place under BJP rule. Baghel said that since the BJP government was formed in the state 4 months ago, such cases have increased. Baghel said that in Bastar the police scare the innocent tribals. Baghel said that here in Kawardha too the policemen are scaring the tribals and threatening to arrest them.
These are the same people who said that the surgical and air strikes were imaginary: Vishnudev Sai
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has hit back at the statement of former CM Baghel. On the question asked by the media about Baghel’s statement, Sai said that these people should not raise questions on everything. These are the same people who called the surgical strike and air strike imaginary. Sai said that this (Naxalite) incident happened in their own state, how can they raise questions. If this incident is fake in any way, then prove it.
Former CM is insulting the force: Vijay Sharma
Deputy CM and Home Minister Vijay Sharma have also retaliated to the statement of former CM Baghel. The Home Minister said that Bhupesh Baghel is calling the Kanker encounter fake, I challenge you to prove it and if you cannot prove it, then apologize to the CRPF, BSF, DRG soldiers, Bastar fighters and otherwise the public will not forgive you. Sharma said that politics is not right on every issue.
Deputy CM Sharma, while showing the press note of the Naxalites, said that in this press note issued on July 8, they have said that, our 50 comrades have been martyred. At the same time, the department also said that, 50 Naxalites have been killed. This is the first time when the police department also said 50 and the Naxalites have also admitted that, 50 of their comrades have been killed. After which this is the second incident where 29 uniformed Naxalites have been killed. Also, ultra-modern weapons have also been recovered, seeing this how can anyone say that, this is a fake encounter. This rhetoric of the Congressmen is unfortunate.
