Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that the claim that the BJP is making of giving 4 crore houses by putting Modi’s photo in posters and advertisements is completely false. According to the data released by the central government, a target of building around 2 crore 95 lakh houses was set. Out of that, approval was given for 2 crore 94 lakh 68 thousand 272 houses. Out of which only 2 crore 55 lakh 17 thousand 812 houses have been completed. Even today 39 lakh 50 thousand 460 houses have not been built. Then BJP should tell where has the Modi government built 4 crore houses? The BJP’s advertisement of building 4 crore houses is bringing out the possibility of huge irregularities and scam in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana?
Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that during the assembly elections, the BJP had promised to build 18 lakh houses for the people of the state, but the truth is that the Modi government did not approve 18 lakh houses. According to the 2011 census, more than 18 lakh beneficiaries of the state were to get the benefit of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, but only 11 lakh 76 thousand 142 were approved. In which the Congress government has built 9 lakh 63 thousand 936 houses and given them to the beneficiaries and the work of the remaining houses is under construction. State Congress spokesperson, senior spokesperson Dhananjay Singh Thakur, while showing the mirror to the BJP by releasing the state wise data of Prime Minister’s Housing issued by the Central Government, said that in the Prime Minister’s home state Gujarat, out of 603922 approved houses under Prime Minister’s Housing, not more than 92167 houses have been constructed and Arunachal Pradesh Completed Houses 28420 Assam Completed Houses 17,73,299 Bihar Completed Houses 36,45,255 Chhattisgarh Completed Houses 9,63,936 Goa Completed Houses 226 Gujarat Completed Houses 5,11,547 Haryana Completed Houses 28278.
