Raj Kundra trap in Ponzi scheme scam, ED confiscates property worth 98 crores
1 min readMumbai (Team Newsbuddy). Businessman Raj Kundra, who came into controversy for making pornographic content, is now trapped in the Bitcoin Ponzi scheme case. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken major action against actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra. The ED has confiscated Kundra’s property worth Rs 97.97 crore on charges of money laundering.
According to the official statement, immovable and movable properties worth Rs 97.79 crore belonging to Ripu Sudan Kundra alias Raj Kundra have been confiscated under the Money Laundering Act. This also includes a residential flat located in Juhu, a posh area of Mumbai, which is currently in the name of his wife Shilpa Shetty. Apart from this, the ED has seized a residential bungalow and equity shares in Pune in the name of Raj Kundra.
