Tesla’s first showroom may open in Delhi, Mumbai

Tesla has seen a decline in its global vehicle deliveries in the first quarter for the first time in nearly four years. Meanwhile, the company is trying to grow its business by looking for new markets. Sources have given this information on the condition of anonymity.

According to media reports, this move comes just after Tesla experienced a decline in global vehicle deliveries in the first quarter. Which is the first decline in nearly four years. Tesla has already started production of right-hand-drive cars for export to India at its plant in Germany. Tesla is ready to make its presence in India’s growing electric vehicle market. India last month cut electric vehicle import taxes from 100% to 15% for automakers who invest at least $500 million and set up a factory.

Tesla executives have been scouting for suitable locations for showrooms since last month. They are discussing potential good market and mall sites with real estate developers. They aim to begin construction soon to ensure the showrooms are ready by 2024.
