Ritu Jha appointed national Secretary of National Human Panel’s women’s wing
1 min readIndore: (Team Newsbuddy) Ritu Jha, the head of the Indore unit of the Sakhi Bahinpa Maithilani Samuh—a global organization for women of the Maithil community—has been appointed National Secretary of the Women’s Wing of the National Human Rights Association. This announcement was made in an appointment letter issued by the association’s National chairman, Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Mishra; her tenure will last until December 10, 2025.
Jha, who hails from Gara Tol village in the Madhubani district of Bihar, is the wife of retired Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Akhilesh Jha from Madhya Pradesh. In her new role with the National Human Rights Association, she will actively work to prevent the exploitation and oppression of women in society. Expressing her happiness over the appointment, Mrs. Jha stated that she has always been dedicated to the upliftment and socio-economic development of women. With this new responsibility, she aims to combat the mistreatment and oppression of women with even greater vigor. Senior members of the Maithil community, including K.K. Jha, Mukesh Jha, Udaykant Thakur (National President of the Sakhi Bahinpa Maithilani Group), Aarti Jha, Sharda Jha, and Thakur Jagdish Singh (President of the Northeastern Cultural Institute, Madhya Pradesh), have all extended their congratulations to Ritu Jha on her appointment.
