Stampede at Bandra Terminus railway station, 10 people injured

On Sunday morning, the crowd of passengers going home on the platform swelled to such an extent that the police could not control them. 10 passengers have been injured in the stampede incident. They have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The passengers were waiting for train number 22921, Bandra-Gorakhpur Express. As soon as the train arrived, there was a stampede among the crowd.
The injured passengers have been admitted to Bandra Bhabha Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. The condition of 2 people among the injured is said to be critical. A large number of people are going towards their homes to celebrate the festival. A large number of people from UP-Bihar living in Mumbai are leaving by train to celebrate Diwali and Chhath.
