Why is BJP not asking for votes in name of its leaders Savarkar, Mukherjee, Deendayal?
2 min readRaipur(Team Newsbuddy): Congress took a jibe at BJP for asking for votes in the name of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Subhash Chandra Bose. Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that BJP is appealing for votes from the youth by releasing posters with photos of freedom fighters Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on its official page. But it is avoiding asking for votes in the name of its leaders Savarkar, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Deendayal Upadhyay? What has been the contribution of its leaders towards the country and their role in the freedom struggle? BJP should clarify the role of its leaders in front of the youth from whom BJP is appealing for votes?
Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that BJP has neither the achievement of 10 years of Modi government nor has its guiding leaders made any contribution to the country. That is why the big leaders of BJP make malicious statements against the former Prime Minister and Congress leaders through election platforms. They are trying to get votes by diverting the attention of the public. The people of the state have understood that BJP can neither work nor do any good for anyone. BJP can only make allegations. The only work of BJP and its affiliated organizations is to criticize the works of the previous government, prove their works wrong and serve their own interests.
Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that only the pictures of Deendayal Upadhyay and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee are seen in the political programs of BJP. During that time, BJP does not remember Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. Now that the departure of BJP government in Lok Sabha seems certain, BJP is remembering the leaders of the freedom struggle.
