Shot fired at former MLA Devti Karma’s Raipur bungalow, head constable dies

At the same time, a jawan has been injured. He has been admitted to Ambedkar Hospital. According to police officers, the incident took place during the cleaning of the rifle. While cleaning the rifle, a bullet suddenly fired.
A shot was fired at the bungalow of former MLA Devti Karma located in Civil Lines of the capital. In the incident, the head constable posted on bungalow duty died. Also, there is news of the platoon commander being injured. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Civil Line Police reached the spot and investigation is going on. At present, an investigation is being done on how the incident happened.
According to the information, the incident happened yesterday. APC Ram Kumar Dohre and Head Constable Ajay Singh of VIP Security Company engaged in the security of Ashish Karma in Civil Line bungalow of Devti Karma were cleaning their weapons regularly in the police barracks. During that time, a bullet was fired from the pistol which passed through the palm of the APC and hit the right chest of Head Constable Ajay Singh. Due to which Head Constable Ajay Singh died in Mekahara Hospital. And APC Ram Kumar Dohre is being treated. The deceased was a resident of Bijuri. And the injured is a resident of Bhind. Prima facie, the case appears to be accidental firing. Investigation is being done in the case.
