2 min read

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): The workers of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) called this election as the election of the country’s future and appealed to defeat the anti-people BJP and make the candidate of India Alliance and Congress, Vikas Upadhyay, victorious for the protection of the Constitution and democracy.

CPI(M) District Secretary Pradeep Gabhane said in a press statement that a campaign team was sent out by the party and street meetings were held at dozens of places in all the four assembly constituencies of Raipur. Addressing these meetings, CPI(M) leaders Dharmaraj Mahapatra, Pradeep Gabhane, Rajesh Awasthi, KK Sahu, Ajay Kannoje, Rimesh Lader, Panchu Yadav said that after ten years of RSS-BJP rule, the country has reached the brink of such a crisis today, where poverty, unemployment, inflation are at their peak; The question of saving the Constitution from which the basic values of democracy, brotherhood, social justice and secularism have emerged has also come to the fore. The BJP has made it clear that it wants to come to power again so that it can change the Constitution on the basis of its majority so that it can turn a secular-democratic republic into a fascist Hindutva nation where the tribals, Dalits and economically backward majority of the people including the minority communities of the country will be pushed to a secondary position. If this happens, all the battles being fought for the progress of the people of the country will be left behind. Therefore, these Lok Sabha elections are being held to save the livelihood of the people of the country and to protect their democratic rights as well as to save the Constitution. In this election, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) appeals to the general public to defeat the communal and corporate-friendly BJP and its alliance decisively and make Vikas Upadhyay victorious to ensure the formation of a secular government under the leadership of the ‘India’ group.
