Poonam of SECR wins gold medal in ASBC Asian Under-22 and Youth Boxing Championship.

Bilaspur : Poonam, a female boxing player of South East Central Railway, Bilaspur has again hoisted the flag of her country all over the world. Representing India in the ASBC Asian Under-22 and Youth Boxing Championship held in Astana, Kazakhstan from 27 April to 07 May 2024, Poonam has won the gold medal.

Poonam, a female boxing player of South East Central Railway, is working as an Account Assistant in the Accounts Department of South East Central Railway Headquarters, Bilaspur. Even before this, Poonam has hoisted the flag of the country and Indian Railways many times in national and international level boxing competitions.

South East Central Railway has always encouraged sports and players. As a result of this, today in various national and international competitions, the players of South East Central Railway are bringing laurels to the country and Indian Railways as well as South East Central Railway.

South East Central Railway’s female boxing player Poonam has been congratulated by the General Manager on her excellent performance and achievement in the international level boxing competition and has been encouraged to perform even better in the future.
