Chhattisgarh schools to host summer camps

Department issues order on instructions of School Education Minister Brijmohan Agarwal

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): On the instructions of the Education Minister in Chhattisgarh, summer camp is going to be organized for the students in the summer vacation in the schools.

For which the School Education Department has started making an action plan, under which all the schools have been asked to conduct activities regarding the summer camp organization and give the relevant information to the department.

Summer vacation is effective in schools in the state till June 15. During this time, versatile skills can be developed in the students by engaging them in creative activities. Guidance of the parents of the students and their teachers can be useful in creative activities. Guidelines have been issued to organize summer camps for the exchange of mutual creative activities among the students.

Under this, summer camps for students can be organized in schools or community places of village/city.

In the summer camp, experts from the field of art/creative field can be invited and students can be guided/trained by them.

The cooperation of school teachers, parents of students and school development committee will also be taken in the summer camp.

Creative activities like painting, singing, playing instruments, essay/story writing, handwriting, dance, sports, historical introduction of your village/city etc. will be conducted in the summer camp as follows.

Consent will be taken from the school development committee and parent teacher committee before organizing the summer camp.

This event will be completely voluntary and summer camps will be conducted between 07:00 am to 09:30 am.
