National Lok Adalat concludes in Indore

175 cases resolved in Lok Adalat

Indore(Team Newsbuddy) : National Lok Adalat was concluded in Indore Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court. 175 cases were resolved in this Lok Adalat. Awards of one crore 73 lakh 74 thousand 737 rupees were passed in the resolved cases. Lok Adalat was organized as per the instructions of National Legal Services Authority New Delhi and as per the orders of Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court Shri Ravi Malimath and Administrative Judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court Bench Indore Shri Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari. In the said National Lok Adalat, about 1074 cases were placed before 2 division benches constituted for Lok Adalat by the High Court Bench Indore. Out of this, 175 cases were resolved by the division bench.

This year’s second National Lok Adalat was inaugurated by Administrative Judge Shri Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari in the dignified presence of other judges by garlanding the Saraswati statue and lighting a lamp. In the said division bench, 1074 cases related to civil (M.A.C.T. etc.), writ and criminal were kept for hearing. Out of these, about 175 cases were resolved and awards of total compensation amount of one crore 73 lakh 74 thousand 737 rupees were passed.
