Dhamtari (Team Newsbuddy): Collector Namrata Gandhi gave necessary instructions by holding a meeting of the Health Department and AYUSH Department in the Collectorate hall. On this occasion, she asked the pregnant mothers to organize Garbhasanskar under the ‘Supraja’ program, which protects the health of pregnant mothers as well as gives a healthy child. He discussed about pre-conception rituals, Garbha Sanskar and spiritual perspective, various sessions for one to nine months, methods of dialogue. The collector said that through Anganwadi, pregnant mothers should be informed about Garbha Sanskar and Mantra at the time of conception, consumption of womb-establishing medicines, information about diet from one to nine months etc. He said that pregnant women should be made to do yoga, exercise etc. in AYUSH centers, success stories should be told to them, audio of mantras should be played during delivery so that the mother and child remain healthy.
In the meeting, the collector said that after delivery, the Anganwadi worker should regularly contact the mother’s house and encourage her to go to the AYUSH department, so that they can get information about all the facilities here and they can benefit. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Mandal, District Ayurveda Officer Dr. Gurudayal Sahu, District Women and Child Development Officer Jagrani Ekka along with doctors were present in the meeting.
