Film stars cast their votes in Mumbai

Mumbai (Team Newsbuddy): Voting continued peacefully on Monday in 13 Lok Sabha seats of Maharashtra including all the six seats in Mumbai. Many film stars were among those who cast their votes early in the morning. After voting, they appealed to the people to definitely cast their votes. Actor Akshay Kumar, who took Indian citizenship last year, voted for the first time. After voting at Gandhi Gram polling station, he appealed to the people to cast their votes. He told the media, “I want to see India developed and strong. I voted keeping this in mind.” He said that at the polling station where he came to vote, there were 500 people in the queue even this early in the morning.

Apart from him, Janhvi Kapoor, Farah Khan, Zoya Akhtar, Shahid Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao were also among those who cast their votes early in the morning. Shahid posted his selfie with inked finger on his Instagram after voting. In the caption, he wrote, “Cast your vote. Every vote is precious.” “I have cast my vote. Come out in large numbers and vote,” Rajkummar Rao told the media after casting his vote at Gyan Kendra High School in Andheri West. Janhvi cast her vote in Bandra area and posed with her inked finger in front of media persons.
