I request Congress President Deepak Baij to come forward and tell what more needs to be done for Naxal eradication – Vijay Sharma

Raipur((Team Newsbuddy): . Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, while talking to journalists, said that Bastar has progressed a lot in the direction of Naxal eradication. Feedbacks are continuously coming from Bastar. People want the complete end of Naxalism. People want to live in peace without fear. Everyone should fully cooperate on this despite political differences. Baij’s statement that the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister have not understood Bastar. Sharma has requested Baij for the peace of Bastar that he should come forward for Naxal eradication and come forward and suggest ways for peace in Bastar.

He said with facts that the Naxalites killed in the Congress encounter, whom Congress is calling innocent, have cases like 302, 307, UAPA registered against them during the Congress rule itself.
Sharma said that Deepak Baij should first check the facts and then speak. Sharing the information, Sharma said that all those whom Congress is calling innocent have criminal cases registered against them since 2022, 2021. A case of 302 is registered against Lucky Kunjam in 2022, a case of 307 was registered in 2023, Deepak Baij was the MP there, it was his government. Deputy Chief Minister Sharma further said that a case of 307 is registered against Orchha Chhotu in 2022, the case was registered in the Congress government. A case of 307 is registered against Chaitu Kunjam in 2021, 307 was again imposed in 2023, 302 in January 2024, thus there are 7 cases against him. There are a total of 6 cases against Sanno Avalam including 302 in 2022. There are 6 cases registered against Sunita Kunjam including 302 in the year 2022 and 307 in the year 2023. A case of kidnapping is registered against Yoga Barse in 2022. There are many such matters, those facts should be investigated.
Sharma said that in the last 5 years, Congress neither constructed 257 roads, nor 80 bridges, nor set up camps anywhere. Today when the BJP government is doing all this, they are not liking it. They should not lower the morale of the security forces. Sharma said that now the security forces are working for development in Bastar and doing this kind of politics is wrong. Sharma said that after the formation of the BJP government, in just a few months, the brave soldiers of the army have killed more than 123 Naxalites. During this time, more than 407 Naxalites have been arrested and 404 Naxalites have also surrendered. Almost the same number of people have surrendered as those arrested. The government is continuously working for the development of Bastar and we want that peace should be established in Bastar in any way and for this Deepak Baij should also come forward.
