Rise of 16-year-old ‘superstar’ at Euro 2024, Yamal wants to win… at any costs

Barcelona (Team Newsbuddy): Yamal is now making his mark on the international stage but he has already made it into the record books at his club Barcelona.
He has become the youngest player and goal scorer for the Spanish team. Earlier, he also became the youngest scorer in Spain’s La Liga.
Yamal will turn 17 on July 13, a day before the Euro 2024 final.
Giving a glimpse of his thinking, Yamal said that he will just focus on “winning, winning, winning and winning” to celebrate his birthday.

In the final, Spain will face the winner of the second semi-final between England and the Netherlands.
But whichever team is in front, there is only one advice for that team: don’t provoke this young man. Because before the match against France, their midfielder Adrian Rabio had said that Yamal will have to play better than what he has shown in the tournament so far.

Former England defender Rio Ferdinant says, “It seemed as if Yamal saw Rabio and thought, I will show you.”

Yamal reached the post-match press conference at 1:15 in the morning after the match.

Yamal faced the press conference with the same confidence with which he was playing football on the field. Now Yamal’s focus is on the final to be held in Berlin on Sunday.

When asked who he would like to play the final with – England or Netherlands?
Yamal said, “It doesn’t matter to me. When you are in the final, you have to give your best performance. Whoever is in front of us, we will play with courage.”
