Special Lok Adalat will be organized in Supreme Court from 29 July to 3 August 2024

Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain held meeting of departmental secretaries

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy) : Special Lok Adalat is being organized by the Supreme Court of India from 29 July to 3 August. Such mutual settlement cases of all the states of the country which can be resolved through special court will be resolved. Hon’ble Justice Shri Suryakant of the Supreme Court of India today addressed the Chief Secretaries of all the states of the country, High Court Judges of the states, Advocate General, Law Secretary and other officials through video conference and gave detailed information about various provisions for resolving the cases at the government level through this special Lok Adalat.

Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain held a meeting of Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of various departments. The Chief Secretary has asked the officers to identify and list such cases related to their department in which there is a possibility of compromise and ensure necessary action. Additional Chief Secretary Forest and Climate Change Department Richa Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary Home and Jail and Public Health and Family Welfare Manoj Kumar Pingua, senior officials of Law and Legislative Affairs Department along with senior officials of other departments attended the meeting.
