Dibrugarh Express derailed, 4 passengers died, 20 injured

New Delhi(Team Newsbuddy) : Big Train Accident: A painful train accident has happened in Gonda district of UP, where several coaches of Dibrugarh-Chandigarh Express derailed between Motiganj and Dhilai. Four people died in the accident, about 20 people are injured. An AC coach of the train was badly damaged in the accident. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognizance of the incident and directed the officials to reach the spot immediately. The Railways has announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs 2 lakh 50 thousand to the seriously injured and Rs 50 thousand to the minor injured.
Orders for high level investigation of train accident
CRS investigation has been ordered. CRS investigation is the highest level investigation of the railways. Because in the rail accident that happened in Gonda, the loco pilot of Dibrugarh Express had heard the sound of explosion. Therefore, the railways have ordered a CRS investigation in the investigation of this accident.

Statement of the railways on the accident
According to the statement issued by the railways, Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express (159904) met with an accident at 2:37 pm. This train left Gonda at 2 pm. After covering a distance of about 27 km, this train derailed 4 km ahead of Jhilahi station. Four to five coaches have derailed. All the passengers of Dibrugarh Express are being taken to Mankapur railway station by special buses. A special train will be run from there and the passengers will be taken to their destination.
