Before Rakhi: Brother killed at sister house

Raipur(Team Newsbuddy) : A hotel worker killed a 40-year-old laborer in Birgaon of Urla police station area by pushing him off the roof after assaulting him. The deceased Santosh Soni lived with his family in Birgaon itself. His three children were in the rented house of sister Poonam Soni and husband Raju Soni (42 years) during the day.
Santosh reached to meet them at 8.30 pm on Saturday night. Police say that he saw neighboring hotel worker Deva Vishwakarma (32 years) on the roof of the house and objected to his coming there. Angered by this, Deva beat him with a wooden plank and pushed him down from the roof. Santosh died due to head injury after falling. The deceased’s ten-year-old daughter witnessed the incident of her father being beaten up and pushed off the roof. The police is considering her as the main witness. The police reached the spot after the incident on Saturday night. Santosh died in the hospital on Sunday morning. She has been living on rent in Birgaon since the murder that took place a day before Raksha Bandhan.
