Operation Time Management to prevent chain pulling in Raipur division launched

“Mission Passenger Safety” campaign for safety, security of railway passengers

Raipur(Team Newsbuddy) :Railway Protection Force, Raipur Division is continuously running a campaign under “Operation Time Management” to prevent incidents of alarm chain pulling in trains. In this sequence, from 1 August to 19 August 2024, 248 drives were conducted and legal action was taken under the Railway Act against 68 persons who misused alarm chain pulling.

Similarly, a campaign is being run under “Mission Passenger Safety” for the safety and security of railway passengers. Under which, legal action is being taken against the criminals involved in cases of theft of passenger goods by coordinating with the Government Railway Police / Local Police to keep an eye on them and if their presence is found in the railway area.

In the same sequence, from 1st August to 19th August 2024, 03 habitual pickpockets/criminals of passenger belongings have been caught by the Railway Protection Force Raipur Division and handed over to the concerned Government Railway Police/Local Police for action under the Indian Civil Security Code-2023 (B.N.S.S.).
