Chhattisgarh excels in road, bridge construction quality

State report of the quality check of roads and bridges under construction in various states of the country under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana at the national level has been released by the central agency, the National Rural Development Agency, in which the roads and bridges under construction in various districts of Chhattisgarh were found to be of good quality and in better condition during inspection and testing. Quality critics have praised the Chhattisgarh government for the construction of quality roads and bridges.
It is noteworthy that 41 roads and culverts in Chhattisgarh were tested by the National Quality Reviewers in the month of September under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. In the test, the construction of roads and bridges was found to be of high quality. The quality reviewers examined 19 completed works, 10 under-construction works, 6 repair works, and 6 bridges in the state.
In the inspection and testing conducted in the month of September under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, the percentage of low quality was found to be zero. According to the report released by the National Rural Development Agency, New Delhi, under the scheme, except in the Union Territory of Ladakh, there has been a decline in the quality of construction of roads and bridges in other states.
