Forest and Cooperative Minister Kashyap’s sharp attack on former Chief Minister Baghel

Chhattisgarh Forest-Cooperation Minister Kedar Kashyap has raised serious questions on former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel regarding his efforts to meet Suryakant Tiwari, an accused in the coal scam case. He questioned why Baghel is in such a hurry to meet Suryakant Tiwari, who is in jail? Minister Kashyap alleged that Baghel is scared of something since Suryakant Tiwari filed a petition in the court.

Kashyap said sarcastically, “What does Baghel have to do with Suryakant Tiwari, and what is their relationship?” He said that Suryakant Tiwari has been in jail for the last two years and has not even been able to get bail, yet why is Baghel so eager to meet him?

Minister Kashyap said that it is becoming clear that Baghel is afraid that Suryakant Tiwari can expose one of his secrets. He further said, “The court will work according to its process, Baghel or any other person cannot interfere in this process.” Kashyap also alleged that Bhupesh Baghel had given protection to the scam accused while being the Chief Minister and this support for them continues even now. Targeting Baghel, he said, “Baghel just wants to meet the criminals, wants to advocate for them. This scam is the result of political collusion and Baghel’s role in it is clear.”
