Tata Power installs rooftop solar systems at 600 places in Chhattisgarh

Under the new initiative, TPSSL has installed rooftop solar systems at more than 600 places in Chhattisgarh. This information was given by an official of TPSSL company itself on Sunday. Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary, has done excellent work in the field of installing rooftop solar systems in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Kerala.
Installation of rooftop solar system: An official associated with the company said that under the “Ghar-Ghar Solar, Tata Power Ke Sang” initiative, the installation of rooftop solar systems started in the state in the middle of this year, but it was officially launched this week by Praveer Sinha, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Tata Power Company and Dipesh Nanda, CEO and MD of TPREL. The official said that “the initiative aims to provide clean energy to all the households in the state, which is based on the commitment to promote sustainable energy solutions across India”. Chhattisgarh will be illuminated by renewable energy: An official associated with the company said that there is a portfolio of more than 600 establishments which include residential, commercial and industrial along with direct projects. Whose capacity is 250 MW. All 33 districts of the state will be covered in this new initiative. As per the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, residents can get a central government subsidy of Rs 30,000 for 1 kW, Rs 60,000 for 2 kW and Rs 78,000 for 3-10 kW system.
