Cement prices reduced due to Congress pressure :Thakur
2 min readRaipur(Team Newsbuddy): Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that due to the agitation, demonstrations and pressure of the Congress, the industrialists have been forced to reduce the increased price of cement and the government has come under pressure. The BJP government had surrendered in front of the industrialists. The cement manufacturing companies had formed a syndicate and defied the government by increasing the price of cement by up to Rs 50 and the people sitting in the government were silent. The government had a share in this increase.
Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that the cement produced in the industries of Chhattisgarh was Rs 20 to Rs 25 less in the states outside Chhattisgarh while it was Rs 50 more expensive in Chhattisgarh. Whereas the raw material, electricity, manpower for making cement is available at cheap rates in Chhattisgarh. The BJP government of the state is a puppet in the hands of a few capitalists. They were not concerned about the poor but the government itself was engaged in collecting money from the capitalists.
Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that after the formation of the BJP government, the dreams of the poor to build houses have been crushed. The price of cement was increased by Rs 50, the price of sand has increased from Rs 7000 per truck to Rs 18000 per truck, the price of steel and bricks has been increased drastically. All this is happening under the protection of the government
