Relief to common citizens and traffic chaos will be removed

Raipur( Team Newsbuddy): In Raipur, under Telibandha, complaints were being received from the residents of the ward and the city about the illegal handcarts and gathering of daily wage workers in Gurunanak Chowk located in Shyam Nagar for a long time. According to the residents of the ward, the traffic system was getting affected due to the gathering of hundreds of workers in the Chowk every morning and some anti-social elements were also trying to run the drug business illegally there under the guise of workers, due to which any unpleasant incident could happen there in the coming time.

After the complaint of the residents of the ward, after a few days, the workers of Chaudi were verbally explained, but due to not getting a proper place after the arrangement, there was a gathering of workers there every day.

Taking cognizance of all the above, Raipur North MLA Purandar Mishra reached the spot this morning and in the presence of officials of the corporation, police and administration, all the workers were arranged under the over bridge of Atal Path at Telibandha and it was decided not to allow them to gather at Gurunanak Chowk in the coming days.

By instructing the zone commissioner of the corporation and other officials present on the spot, arrangements for cement chairs for the workers to sit have been made immediately. And the local MLA has directed the corporation to arrange for fans and construct toilets as soon as possible for the convenience of the workers in the coming days.

Meanwhile, senior BJP leaders including Sunil Kukreja, Rohit Sahu, Harish Singh Thakur, Jitendra Sahu, Santosh Sahu, Sonu Saluja and officials and employees of the Municipal Corporation were present.
