Former LoP’s brother commits suicide, jumps in front of train, body found on railway track

Janjgir-Champa(Team Newsbuddy) : The body of former Leader of Opposition {LoP) Narayan Chandel’s brother has been found near the railway station in Janjgir Champa district of Chhattisgarh. He has committed suicide by jumping in front of the train. At the same time, the police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem. The cause of death is not yet known. At present, the police has started investigating the whole matter.

Actually the whole incident is near Naila railway station. Where the body of Shekhar Chandel, brother of former Leader of Opposition Narayan Chandel, has been found. According to the information received, BJP leader Shekhar Chandel committed suicide by jumping in front of a train near Naila station on Friday night. Police reached the spot as soon as the information about the incident was received. At present the reason for suicide is unknown. Meanwhile, the police has started investigating the whole case. BJP leader Shekhar Chandel was the younger brother of former leader of opposition Narayan Chandel.

Police engaged in investigation

Shekhar Chandel was a district commissioner of Scout Guide along with being active in BJP politics. As soon as the news of his death was received, police and administrative officials reached the spot late at night. Police has sent the body to the hospital for post-mortem after Panchnama. The reason for Shekhar Chandel’s suicide is a matter of police investigation.
