Cricket team selection: Fraud girl in police custody

Bilaspur(Team Newsbuddy) : The applicant Rakhi Khanna, resident of Warehouse Road Mahamaya Vihar Police Station Civil Line Bilaspur, came to the police station and filed a report that her son Akash Khanna had joined Prime Cricket Academy Bengali Kali Mandir Ground Torwa in December 2021, whose coach was Sunny Dua. Director Anju Dua and her husband Sunny Dua cheated the children and parents by showing them golden dreams of getting them selected in the cricket team at the national level and received cash from them and about Rs 70 lakh through online transaction in the account of accused Khushboo Singh. On the report, a crime was registered and the accused Sunny Dua and Anju Dua were arrested. The accused Khushboo Singh was continuously absconding in the case, whose whereabouts were being searched continuously, when Torwa police received information that Khushboo Singh was seen around Jarhabhata Chowk. The information was informed to Superintendent of Police Rajnesh Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police City Umesh Kashyap, City Superintendent of Police Kotwali Puja Kumar, who immediately reached the spot to verify the information and caught the accused. Instructions were given to arrest and the accompanying staff reached the spot and Khushboo Singh was taken into custody. Upon interrogation, she admitted to having committed the crime, and the accused’s account was seized. The accused was arrested and presented in the honorable court.
