4 people of same family shot dead including innocent children

The miscreants shot dead teacher Sunil Kumar’s couple and 2 children. The teacher, his wife and both their children died on the spot in the attack.

According to the information received, teacher Sunil Kumar (35) lived with his wife and two children in a rented house at the main intersection of Ahorwa Bhavani town of Shivratanganj police station area. Sunil was an assistant teacher in PM Shri Vidyalaya Panhauna. On Thursday evening, some armed men reached his residence. The miscreants opened fire targeting Sunil Kumar. His wife and two children who came to rescue him also got shot.

All four people were taken to CHC Singhpur where doctors declared all of them dead. On receiving the information, SP Anoop Kumar Singh reached the spot with a heavy police force. ASP Harendra Pratap said that teacher Sunil Kumar, his wife Poonam Bharti (30) and two daughters Drishti (6) and Laado (2) died in the firing. The teacher originally hails from Sudamapuri in Jagatpur police station area of ​​Raebareli. On August 18, teacher Sunil Kumar had filed a molestation case under SC/ST against a youth named Chandan Verma in Raebareli itself. Police is investigating on this point
