Chief Minister hosts high-level meeting on anti-Naxal operation

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy). Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai held a high-level meeting late night today at his residential office regarding the encounter between security forces and Maoist terrorists in Abujhmad area on the border of Narayanpur and Dantewada districts. Director General of Police and senior officers of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat were present in the meeting.
Chief Minister Sai took detailed information about the incident in the meeting and praised the bravery and indomitable courage of the security forces for the successful operation against the Maoist terrorists and congratulated them for the great success. During the meeting, the Chief Minister also inquired about the well-being of the security forces personnel. He directed the Director General of Police that no laxity should be shown in the action against Maoist terrorism in Chhattisgarh. Also, there should be no shortage of resources required for the soldiers in the fight against Naxalism.

During this time, the police officials told Chief Minister Sai that in the searches conducted so far in the said operation, more than 28 Maoists have been reported killed. This will be the most successful operation against the Maoists so far in the country. The Chief Minister was told that the anti-Naxal campaign is continuing in Chhattisgarh to wipe out Naxalism. The soldiers of the security forces are fighting the Maoists with full courage.
