Indore(Team Newsbuddy): The players of the host Daly College gave a brilliant performance and won both the team and individual categories in the All India IPSC Inter School Girls Tennis Tournament. Players from different states of the country are participating in this competition. The IPSC team will be selected on the basis of performance in the competition.
In the pre-quarterfinals of the individual category of the competition, Poorva Singh of the host Daly College played aggressively and defeated Yana Goenka of Emerald Heights School 4-0. In another match, Reet Arora of Daly College played a similar aggressive game and defeated P. Paswani of Emerald Heights School 4-0. In other matches of the day, Tamanna Walia of YPS Mohali defeated Aditi Jaju of RKKGPS 4-1. At the same time, Arju Malik, a player of MNSS Rai, defeated Pari Kachwah of RKKGPS 4-1 after a little struggle. Reeth Begani of RKC defeated Samia Wadhwani of Emerald Heights 4-2. Hanika Bhojwani of Mayo College, Ajmer defeated Manavya Singh of RKC 4-0.
In the team category, host Daly College defeated RKKGPS team 2-0. On the other hand, Ajmer’s Mayo College team defeated Raipur’s RKC team 2-1 after a tough fight.
