Proposal of Rs 250 crore for film city in Chhattisgarh

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy). After the increasing interest of Bollywood in Chhattisgarh, the buzz about the construction of film city in the state has intensified. The state government has decided to build a film city. The Culture Department has prepared a proposal to build a film city, which will be sent to the central government for approval.

A proposal of Rs 250 crore has been made for the construction of a film city. Initially, about two hundred acres of land has also been identified for this in Nava Raipur. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has shown interest in it to promote the Chhattisgarhi film industry.

A proposal for a film city has been prepared after the instructions of the Chief Minister. Work on the film city will be started after the approval of the central government. Due to the BJP government in the Center and the state, it is expected to be approved soon. There are plans to build a film city on 150 to 200 acres of land in Nava Raipur. The culture department officials have also studied the states where work has been done on film cities and it will be prepared on that basis.
