According to Rahul Kharge’s statement, “After making full payment to KIADB, this land was allotted two months ago to build a center for skill development and education.”
Rahul Kharge has said, “An educational institution cannot be run properly while facing baseless and politically motivated allegations. The trust was established with high values and a passion to work for the society.”
He said, “We do not want to get into controversies that may divert our attention from our primary objective of empowering the underprivileged through education and social service.”
After the allotment of land to Rahul Kharge’s trust, a controversy arose between BJP Rajya Sabha MP Lehar Singh Siroya and other BJP leaders. Siroya had criticized the government over the land allotment.
In a post on social media, BJP leader Siroya has said, “The Kharge family has returned the five acres of KIADB land allotted to them illegally. When I raised this issue, I was threatened and abused by Junior Kharge and his associates. Truth has prevailed.”
