BSP director inaugurates CCTV surveillance

Bhilai(TEAM NEWS BUDDY).The integrated perimeter CCTV surveillance system installed at Bhilai Steel Plant was inaugurated by Anirban Dasgupta, Director-in-charge of the Plant, in the auditorium of the Director-in-charge of Ispat Bhawan. With the implementation of this project, inspection and strict monitoring will be done in all critical and sensitive areas of the plant. With this, monitoring of the perimeter of the plant, shops, wagon-entries and other sensitive areas will provide many benefits like preventing the entry of unauthorized persons and undue interference for theft of material and protecting the property of the plant etc. On this occasion, Executive Director Works of the plant Anjani Kumar, Executive Director Material Management Ajay Kumar Chakraborty, Executive Director Finance and Accounts Dr. Ashok Kumar Panda, Chief Medical Officer Incharge Medical and Health Services Dr. M. Ravindranath, DIG CISF Pratibha Agarwal, CISF Commandant Abhijeet Kumar, Chief General Manager in-charge of the concerned departments, Chief General Manager, General Manager and other members of the steel fraternity along with officials of M/s Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited were present. Anirban Dasgupta said, it is indeed a golden day for Bhilai Steel Plant, when the long awaited system is being implemented, which deals with the safety of not only our equipment, but also our personnel. Due to such a huge plant complex, it is practically a difficult task to prevent all unauthorized entry and activities. Incorporating technology is probably the best way to deal with such issues. Technology ensures efficient work is done in a smart way.
