Delhi Elections 2025: Congress fields Alka Lamba against CM Atishi

New Delhi (Team Newsbuddy): Congress has released its third list of candidates for the upcoming Delhi elections. In this list, All India Mahila Congress President Alka Lamba has been made the candidate from Kalkaji seat.

Kalkaji seat is also considered important in the Delhi elections because Delhi’s current CM Atishi is contesting from here. Atishi won this seat in the 2020 assembly elections. Alka Lamba said, “Arvind Kejriwal has insulted the constitutional post and a woman Chief Minister sitting on that constitutional post by calling Atishi ‘temporary Chief Minister’.

She said, “My fight is not against anyone. My fight is against the poisonous air of Delhi.”Taking a jibe at the Aam Aadmi Party government, he said, “What did you do for unemployment, you announced a free bottle of liquor with one purchase. For the entire ten years, the government and administration kept fighting and Delhi remained in pain after being ruined.
