Maharashtra’s Aarav wins maiden national sub-junior billiards title

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): Maharashtra’s Aarav Sancheti, playing in a bang style, won the sub-junior billiards title in the 91st National Billiards and Snooker (Men) Championship being played in the Smash Hall of Yashwant Club under the aegis of the Indian Billiards and Snooker Association and jointly hosted by Madhya Pradesh Billiards and Snooker Association and Yashwant Club.
The title match of the sub-junior billiards of this national championship being played in the smash hall of the city’s prestigious Yashwant Club was between Maharashtra’s Aarav Sancheti and Gujarat’s Bhavya Pipaliya. In which Aarav played in a bang style and won the match by 381-204 points. 14-year-old Aarav did not have to work hard to win this match held under the one and a half hour time format. He achieved the honour of becoming the national champion for the first time by playing very accurate and excellent shots.

In the semi-finals played before this, Aarav had to struggle for victory against Tamil Nadu’s Naveen Kumar. Aarav won this match by 232-229 points. Aarav reached the semi-finals by winning by a margin of just three points. In the second semi-final, Bhavya defeated Telangana’s Vaibhav Chaddha by 167-122.

In the quarter-final matches, Aarav defeated Karnataka’s Riddhiman S. by 302-142, Bhavya defeated Karnataka’s Mohammad Murtaza by 174-156, J. Naveen Kumar defeated Jammu Kashmir’s Hardik Gupta by 222-95 and Vaibhav Chaddha defeated Tamil Nadu’s Abdul Saif by 153-150.

Agam of MP, Aryan of Maharashtra qualify

Agam Gangwal of MP won the final qualifying round of Boys Junior Snooker and entered the main round. Agam Gangwal defeated Syed Shoaib of Telangana 3-0, Aryan P of Maharashtra defeated Vedant of Tamil Nadu 3-0, Bhavya Pipaliya of Gujarat defeated Krishna Talreja of MP 3-0, Mohammad Mustafa of Karnataka defeated Ali Hamza of MP 3-0, Harry Darin of Karnataka defeated VV Mohan of Tamil Nadu 3-1, Lakshmi Narayan of Tamil Nadu defeated Syed Kabir of UP 3-2, Abhijeet Airan of MP defeated Abdul Saif of Tamil Nadu 3-1, Abdul Hasan of UP defeated Abhinav Kothari of MP 3-1 and made it to the main round.
