Former Dy CM’s son, daughter-in-law, grand daughter murder case : Five accused get lifer

Korba (Team Newsbuddy): Harish Kanwar, son of former Deputy Chief Minister of undivided Madhya Pradesh, late Pyarelal Kanwar, wife Sumitra Kanwar and daughter Ashi Kanwar were brutally murdered three years ago. This murder caused a sensation in the state. Now after three years of hearing in this case, the court has sentenced all five accused to life imprisonment. The accused include a total of five people including the brother-in-law of the deceased’s elder brother and a woman.

In this case, the police arrested the accused and filed a charge sheet in the court, on the basis of which the court gave its verdict. Government advocate Krishna Dwivedi said that Harish Kanwar and other members of his family were brutally murdered. A bench of Third Additional Sessions Judge Sunil Kumar Nandeshwar heard the case. The prosecution presented all the evidence, on the basis of which the court sentenced all the accused to life imprisonment. This decision has proved to be important in getting justice to the victim family of the murder case.

After the court’s decision, Krishna Dwivedi said that a total of five accused have been sentenced in this case, including one woman and four men. The bench of Third Additional Sessions Judge Sunil Kumar Nandeshwar heard the case. In the case, the prosecution had presented all the evidence, which was taken into cognizance by the court and all the accused have been sentenced to life imprisonment.

Case history:

This murder took place on 21 April 2021 in Bhainsma village of Urga police station area. Late Pyarelal Kanwar’s son Harish Kanwar, wife Sumitra Kanwar and daughter Ashi Kanwar were murdered in the morning. The then Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu took cognizance of the matter and directed the police officers to take immediate action. Within a few hours, the police arrested the main accused of the murder, in which it was found that the killer was the brother-in-law of the deceased’s elder brother. While investigating the matter deeply, the police also arrested other accused. In the triple murder case, the then Home Minister had told that the matter of money transaction had come to the fore in the preliminary inquiry.
