Namo Bharat train tariff becomes cheaper

New Delhi (Team Newsbuddy): There is good news for passengers traveling in Namo Bharat train. Passengers traveling in Namo Bharat train can now avail up to 10 percent discount on travel by using NCMC card. The loyalty point program launched by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTVC) has been expanded, under which this discount is being given on tickets purchased through the ‘Namo Bharat’ mobile app.

Under the loyalty program, passengers traveling by Namo Bharat will be able to earn one point for every rupee spent. The value of each loyalty point will be 10 paise. All these points will be deposited in the NCMC account of the passenger. For example, if a passenger spends Rs 100 for travelling on Namo Bharat, then 100 points (equivalent to Rs 10) will be credited to his NCMC account. This offer will be available on any card. Discount can be obtained by redeeming these points at the station counter.

Efforts to benefit regular passengers:

Actually, the loyalty program has been designed to benefit regular passengers of Namo Bharat. So that they can get the benefit of savings with every journey. Not only this, travel will become easier through paperless ticketing. It said, “On downloading the app, every new user will get Rs 50, which is equivalent to 500 loyalty points. If they ask a new user to use the ‘RRTS Connect’ app, then he can get additional 500 loyalty points.” The statement said that the loyalty points will be valid for one year from the date of receipt, which will encourage frequent travel and continuous use of the app.
