Indore man throws chilies in wife’s eyes, tries to slit her throat

Indore( Team Newsbuddy) : A shocking incident unfolded in Indore where a man allegedly attacked his wife with chili powder and attempted to slit her throat following an employment dispute. The distressing episode occurred on Sunday and came to light the following day. The victim, identified as Mamta Rathore, bravely reported the harrowing ordeal to the authorities at Dwakirapuri police station. The perpetrator, her husband, is currently evading authorities.

Mamta Rathore, the sole breadwinner of the family, sustains their livelihood through sewing. Despite her efforts, her husband remains unwilling to contribute financially. When she implored him to seek employment on Sunday, he flew into a rage, subjecting her to a vicious assault.

During the altercation, he forcibly dragged her outside their residence, resulting in injuries to both parties. Subsequently, he retrieved a knife and chili powder from within the house, callously using the latter to blind her and attempting to fatally wound her.

The commotion attracted the attention of nearby residents, prompting the assailant to flee the scene. Mamta Rathore was rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention. Acting upon her complaint, the Dwarkapuri police have initiated legal proceedings against her husband, Bhagirath, charging him with assault and attempted murder.
