Mumbai. At the rally of India Alliance organized in Mumbai at the conclusion of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, the leaders fiercely targeted the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM).

National Conference President Farooq Abdullah said that if the coalition government comes, EVMs will be removed and the Election Commission will be freed.

He said, “The EVM machine is a thief. Have to save your vote. When you press the button, see whether the vote went there or to someone else. We created a lot of uproar to remove this machine. I hope that when the India Coalition government comes to power, this machine will end.”

Rahul Gandhi said that “Raja’s soul is in EVM and is in every institution of India, it is in ED, CBI, Income Tax Department.”
He asked, “Why is the Election Commission not ready to tally the slips coming out of EVMs?”

At the same rally, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said, “Modi ji has the power of RSS, RSS ideology and Manuvad. They want to crush us completely.”

“A BJP MP from Karnataka says that two-thirds majority is required because the Constitution has to be changed. This is not for the good. We got democracy and constitution by luck.”

NCP (SCP) chief Sharad Pawar said, “It was in this city that Mahatma Gandhi had given the slogan of Quit India. Today in the same city we should think about how to get rid of BJP.”
Former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, who participated in the rally, said, “Today has been the last day of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. Rahul Gandhi has tried to deliver the message by traveling across the country.”
