Raipur – 52nd National Senior Women Handball Competition was organized in Hawthorne, Uttar Pradesh. In this competition, Indian Railways women handball team performed brilliantly and secured first position and won gold medal. 05 women players of South East Central Railway participated in the winning team of Indian Railways and played an important role in the victory of the team.
These women handball players of South East Central Railway include Kajal, Nikki, Pankaj, Gaurav, Technician, Mechanical Department and Meenu, Technician, Electrical Department.
Similarly, Madhu Vedwan, working as a Junior Clerk in the Stores Department of Bilaspur Headquarters of South East Central Railway, has made South East Central Railway proud by securing second position in the 3rd Khelo India National Ranking Women’s Archery Tournament.
Along with Indian Railways, South East Central Railway has always been encouraging sports and players. As a result of this, today these three players have brought laurels to the country as well as South East Central Railway. Along with this, other players of South East Railway have also left their mark in various national and international competitions.
The women’s handball team of Indian Railways and the players of South East Central Railway included in it have been congratulated by the General Manager, South East Central Railway and officials on their excellent performance and achievement and have been encouraged to perform even better in future.
