BJP’s conference in Medical College Hall violation of code of conduct:Congress

Raipur. Congress Law Department complained to the Chief Election Commissioner about the conference to be held in Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Auditorium, Raipur on 31st March 2024 by the BJP Medical Cell, being held in a government building.

It has been said in the memorandum that at present the Model Code of Conduct is in force in the whole of India, in such a situation, Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee Law Department complains about the conference to be held in Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Auditorium, Raipur on 31st March 2024 by the BJP Medical Cell, being held in a government building. Because the Medical College Auditorium Raipur is a government auditorium (building). In such a situation, the use of a government building by the BJP even after the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct is a violation of the Model Code of Conduct. Giving permission to the BJP to hold a conference in Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Auditorium, Raipur comes under the category of violation of the rules of the Model Code of Conduct.

Therefore, it is requested that an immediate ban be put on the above matters and appropriate action be taken against the persons concerned.

Congress Legal Department State President Deva Devangan, Nandkumar Patel, Manoj Kumar Sonkar, Sadiq Ali, Ankit Kumar Mishra, Dnyaneshwar Yadu, Ravi Sharma were present in those who submitted the memorandum.
