MoU between NITRRFIE , PITEF for Co-Incubation signed

Raipur. National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur has always been committed towards supporting innovation, entrepreneurship and startups. On the same lines, the Institute has established a non-profit Technology Business Incubator Company named ‘NIT Raipur Foundation for Innovation and Entrepreneurship’ (NITRRFIE) to support and mentor the startups under the National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovation (NIDIH)- Technology Business Incubator (TBI) programme of Department of Science and Technology (DST).

Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur has also established a non-profit company governed under Section-8 of the Companies Act 2013 named ‘PRSU Innovation Technology and Entrepreneurship Foundation’ (PITEF) to promote innovation, entrepreneurship development, startup incubation, training and skill development, intellectual property management, industry collaboration and networking.

NITRRFIE signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PITEF on 2-April-2024 with the primary objective of identifying and supporting incubation activities and technology driven startups by providing co-incubation, infrastructure and mentoring etc.

The MoU was signed by Hon’ble Director NIT Raipur, Prof. N.V. Ramana Rao on behalf of NITRRFIE and Vice Chancellor Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur, Prof. Sachchidanand Shukla on behalf of PITEF. Present during the signing of the MoU were Dr. Sameer Bajpai, Head, Career Development Center (CDC), Dr. Anuj Kumar Shukla, Faculty Incharge, Incubation Cell, NIT Raipur & Interim CEO, NITRRFIE and Pawan Kataria, Assistant Registrar, NIT Raipur & Interim Manager, NITRRFIE along with Dr. Kavita Thakur, Professor, Ravi University & Director PITEF, Dr. Amber Vyas, Associate Professor, Ravi University & Member PITEF and Dr. Deependra Singh, Associate Professor, Ravi University & Member PITEF.
