New Delhi (Team Newsbuddy): AstraZeneca, the company that provided vaccines to people during the coronavirus pandemic around the world, has recalled its corona vaccine. The company has said that it is recalling its Vaxjeveria vaccine from around the world. It is worth noting that the Covishield vaccine licensed by AstraZeneca was also given in India to prevent corona.

The Covishield vaccine administered in India is also made on the same formula on which the Vaxjeveria vaccine is made. Covishield was manufactured in India by the Serum Institute of India, but till now no decision has been taken to withdraw the corona vaccine in India. According to the report, AstraZeneca has claimed that an updated version of the vaccine is available, so the old stock of the vaccine has been recalled.

According to the report, the company had decided to recall the vaccine Vaxjervria on March 5 itself, but the order came into effect from May 7. This move by the British-Swedish pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca has come at a time when the company has recently admitted that side effects of the Covid vaccine have been seen in some cases and due to this, symptoms of thrombosis thrombocytopenia syndrome disease have been seen in some people, in which blood clots start forming in people.
